Como cada año, durante los meses de Noviembre y Diciembre tienen lugar en toda España el rastrillo de nuevo futuro.
Quién os escribe colabora desde hace ya unos cuantos años con esta organización sin ánimo de lucro que persigue la defensa y cuidado de los niños abandonados o privados de familia.
Esta asociación parte de la idea de Dña. Carmen Herrero Garralda, fallecida este mismo año, ayá por 1939.
En la actualidad, cuenta con hogares en diversas ciudades de España :
Álava 2, Alicante 2, Almería 5, Asturias 3, Burgos 3, Cádiz 4, C. de Gibraltar 6, Córdoba 1, Guipúzcoa 6, Logroño 3, Las Palmas 6, Madrid 12, Málaga 7, Melilla 1, Murcia 2 ,Navarra 9, Palencia 1, Santander 2, Sevilla 8, Tenerife 4, Valencia 3, Valladolid 2.
Y fuera de España:
Portugal 6, Colombia 6, Perú 16, Croacia 7.
Cuenta también con centros de día para menores en riesgo de exclusión social, centro de día para menores en reforma, centros de acogida inmediata, pisos puente para mujeres maltratadas, pisos de emancipación para mayores de 18 años (para niños que han crecido en hogares de Nuevo Futuro y necesitan ayuda) y Hogares Sirio (destinados a niños y niñas en edades comprendidas entre 0 y 18 años que sufren trastornos afectivos y emocionales graves)
Si no sabéis que regalar estas fiestas… pasaros por aquí, hay multitud de stands desde antigüedades o cuadros pasando a joyas… y sino pasate a cenar, comer o a tomarte unas copas!
Como comprenderéis, esto no se mantiene sólo, si la crisis nos afecta a todos, imaginaros a los niños desamparados.
Absolutamente todo el dinero que se saca del Rastrillo va dirigido a la manutención de los niños, al cuidado de sus casas o su escolarización. Puesto que es una organización sin ánimo de lucro, los colaboradores no vemos un céntimo, doy fé de ello.
En Madrid, tiene lugar en la Casa de Campo en el pabellón de la Pipa, hasta el 29 de este mes.
En Oviedo, desde mañana 26 de Noviembre hasta el 2 de Diciembre, Parque San Francisco, Paseo de los Álamos.
