El gigante Microsoft confirmó que algunos usuarios de su sistema de correo electrónico Windows Live, también conocido como Hotmail, tuvieron problemas durante horas el martes para acceder a sus cuentas.
“Estamos investigando activamente la causa y trabajando para tomar las medidas apropiadas para remediar la situación lo más rapido posible”, dijo un portavoz de Microsoft. Horas más tarde, el problema quedó solucionado.
También se registraron problemas de acceso a servicios como Windows Live Messenger y el portal MSN.
Los usuarios de Hotmail en todo el mundo, especialmente en Estados Unidos y Canada, sufrieron interrupciones en el uso del correo electrónico gratuito, que cuenta con más de 300 millones de usuarios activos, y otros servicios.
